The transformation of the paradigm of spare time forces us to rethink the traditional leisure spaces
In collaboration with Aguirre Newman we approach the analysis of the situation of the shopping mall “Plaza Imperial” to determine their feasibility and the possibility to make a transformation which allows them to adapt to the current needs of the Shopping Centers.
The incursion of new technologies has been a determining factor in the evolution of this typological entities, not only at a configuration level but at a social one, since the concept of leisure has changed drastically. This fact has meant the early expiration of 10-yeared-old centers.
In B2bconcept we propose effective and sustainable strategies that generate important typological changes through a minimum investment, to revitalize and energize these spaces extrapolating the qualities of public space to these private environments.
