• Re-structuration of “Arroyo de la Peñuela” riverbed

Project description

We raise a project in which diverse activities of leisure and sports could coexist in a simultaneous way, under a great seasonal variability. The existing topography is respected as far as possible, so that the differences generated by the proximity to the riverbed of the river are those that form the topography of the project, based on consecutive terraces and with diverse material qualities, that join by means of the different pedestrian ways defined in the project.

Planteamos un proyecto en el que puedan coexistir diversas actividades de ocio y deportivas de manera simultánea, con una gran variabilidad estacional. Se respeta en la medida de lo posible la topografía existente, de modo que los desniveles generados por la proximidad al cauce del río sean los que configuren la topografía del proyecto, basada en terrazas consecutivas y con calidades matéricas diversas, que se unen mediante los diversos caminos peatonales definidos en el proyecto.
