Project description

This project is conditioned by the topography of the site and marked by the duality of its situation: open to views and sunlight in the south-east and close to the plot adjacent to the north-west. We therefore propose a shell-project, which solvent that duality. On the other hand, we propose a doble use: workshop-housing. Taking advantage of the slope, the first one is located below ground, partially buried. The functional structure of the pieces of purely residential use is based on two tablets disjointed, sharing the floor, being the single most favorable to the slope of two floors. Thus, the formal structure is staggered so we take profit of the sunlight in all living areas. The facilities are concentrated in the innermost bar downstairs, which frees up the rest of the floor and the upper for a free and flexible distribution.

Este proyecto viene condicionado por la marcada topografía del solar y por la dualidad de su situación: abierto a las vistas y el soleamiento en el sur-este y cerrado a la parcela contigua hacia el nor-oeste. Por ello, proponemos un proyecto-caparazón, que solvente esa dualidad. Por otra parte, se plantea un doble funcionamiento: taller-vivienda. Aprovechando la pendiente del terreno, el primero se sitúa bajo rasante, parcialmente enterrado. La estructura funcional de las piezas de uso meramente residencial se basa en dos pastillas desencajadas, que comparten la planta baja, siendo la pieza más favorable a la pendiente de dos plantas. De esta manera, la estructura formal es escalonada y se aprovechan tanto las vistas como el soleamiento en todas las áreas de la vivienda. Las instalaciones quedan concentradas en la pastilla más interna de la planta baja, lo que permite liberar el resto de la planta y la superior, para obtener una distribución libre y flexible.
