The problem that arises in Gran Via is transferable to many of the most representative streets of major cities around the world: it limits the type of activities to develop, makes people disappear and appear the actors in a play that they represent every single day, depersonalizing the urban landscape and turning it into a mere stage. What if the fifth floor of the "Double Tree Hotel" was replaced by residential areas ?...¿ And if your deck should become an amazing scenic drive along the very heart of London? .. What if you could buy bread around the corner? ... We choose to return these areas to the people, by preventing degradation of "contours" of the "big scenario" with a simple but effective performance: INJECT uses in the street, which means introducing uses that have been being exiled due to purely speculative parameters such as green spaces and rotational, cultural and educational, housing, etc.

El problema que se plantea en la Gran Vía de Madrid es extrapolable a muchas de las calles más representativas de las grandes metrópolis mundiales: se limita el tipo de actividades a desarrollar, desaparecen los “habitantes” y aparecen los actores de una obra que se representa cada día sin excepción, despersonalizando el paisaje urbano y convirtiéndolo en un mero escenario. ¿Qué pasaría si la planta quinta del “Hotel Doble Tree” fuera sustituida por áreas residenciales?...¿Y si su cubierta se convirtiese en un alucinante paseo panorámico a lo largo del mismo corazón de Londres?..¿ y si pudieses comprar el pan a la vuelta de la esquina?... Nosotros optamos por devolver estos espacios a los habitantes, evitando así la degradación de los “contornos” de ese “gran escenario”, con una actuación tan simple como efectiva: INYECTAR de usos la calle, es decir, introducir los usos que han ido siendo exiliados debido a parámetros puramente especulativos, como los espacios verdes y rotacionales, culturales y educativos, viviendas, etc.
